Florsource Inc Announces New Corporate Facility in Morgan County, Indiana
FloSource is recognized for its leadership in distributing valve, actuation, instrumentation, and steam equipment to a variety of users including original equipment manufacturers, mechanical contractors, and a wide variety of end user sectors including energy, oil and gas processing, food and beverage, chemicals, pharma, steel, and environmental management.
According to Amy MacOwan, President of FloSource, “We have enjoyed steady growth at our Martinsville location during our time in the community. With the upcoming I-69 interstate construction project through Martinsville, our property is slated for acquisition and demolition. When we looked for alternative locations that would not be disruptive to our near-term operations while providing long-term growth, we considered other communities outside of Morgan County because of our critical need for open transportation routes. The search brought us right back to Morgan County. With the assistance of the Morgan County Economic Development Corporation, the Town of Mooresville, the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT), and our state legislators, Representative Peggy Mayfield and Senator Rod Bray, we found our new location in Flagstaff Business Park in Mooresville. By remaining in Morgan County, we will be able to retain and grow our workforce- our family- that makes FloSource the reputable business that it is today. Our roots run deep here. We won’t miss a beat during the development of our new facility, and we are excited to continue the challenge of exceeding our customers’ expectations while we prepare for the future.”
With 28 employees at its current location, FloSource anticipates creating 10 additional jobs as a result of the relocation and expansion of its operations.
FloSource is a Certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE).
