Morgan County features a labor force with a strong Midwestern work ethic, low taxes and utility rates, economic incentives and ready access to worldwide distribution.

Morgan County was established by an act of the legislature in 1821 and contains 450 square miles of rolling hills, trees and streams. A commision, comprised of representatives from nearby counties, was formed to assist Morgan County settlers in locating the site for a county seat for the newly-established county in early 1822.
